How Valuable Is Your Time? Children need guidance, families need hope and you can provide that by showing them you care by volunteering at Freedom House.
To us, your time is invaluable. Have you ever wondered what kind of gift you can give; even after the holidays? How about the gift of your time! Volunteering is really the nuts and bolts of our programs and facility. We need your help with reception, helping with our classes, bringing in meals or just helping families that need help. The opportunities to serve here are endless!
Businesses can do service projects, youth groups can come and do ministry, students can fulfill their community service hours; even two-hours of your valuable time is invaluable to us. Perhaps this year is the year for you to get involved and become a part of a family’s future!

Immediate Volunteer Needs

Reception- Answer phones and greet visitors to the Mission. -
Food Prep- Bringing in Meals for Families or cook a meal at the Mission. -
Childcare- Watching the children while we have, Bible, budgeting and parenting classes - Tutoring- School has begun and with that comes the need to help the children with reading, writing & arithmatic!

Maintenance- Helping do minor repairs, painting, yard work and general upkeep of the property. -
Cleaning- Help keep the Mission clean. Help wash blankets and sheets. -
Donation Sorting- Help sort donations that come in, such as food, clothing and household items.
